1 Lessons Taught

I am a college graduate from California State University San Marcos with a B.A in Liberal Studies w/emphasis in mathematical methods and a math minor. Currently, I am earning my teaching credential and working towards obtaining my M.A in educational leadership and University of Redlands. I am a certified tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) and I have two years of experience working as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at the local college in both pre-algebra and college algebra classes. This experience has allowed me to observe and emulate the unique instructional methods of different teachers. In addition, I have 5+ years tutoring privately in math, subjects from 1st grade math to pre-calculus.

As a tutor, I love seeing the "Light bulb Effect" in students. Watching them transform in their learning abilities and succeed in their goals brings me great joy. My goal is to be the shadow of students, instilling independent learners, but also being there for the student, supporting them if they need guidance.

I offer tutoring lessons for all grade levels in mathematics ranging from 1st grade math, middle school, high school, and college level. Elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus, college assessment testing prep, and SAT prep.
